Fáilte romhaibh go léir, and a very warm welcome to our school website.

At St. Peter’s, we believe that every child is unique and deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential. Our dedicated teachers, special needs assistants and support staff work tirelessly to provide a happy, safe and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow and flourish. We place great value on academic achievement, but we are equally committed to nurturing kindness, respect, confidence and a lifelong love of learning in every pupil.

St. Peter’s is a Catholic school, and our ethos is at the heart of everything we do. Guided by Gospel values of love, respect, compassion and fairness, we strive to create a welcoming and inclusive community where every child feels valued and every family feels at home. We warmly welcome children of all faiths and none, and we respect and celebrate the diverse backgrounds and beliefs of all our families. We nurture the spiritual, moral and social development of our pupils alongside their academic growth, and we encourage them to show care for one another, for their community and for the world around them.

Our school takes great pride in how we deliver the curriculum. Guided by the Primary Curriculum Framework, our staff bring learning to life across all five curriculum areas: Language; Mathematics, Science and Technology Education; Wellbeing; Arts Education; and Social and Environmental Education. Through engaging, well-planned teaching, we help our pupils develop the key competencies they need to become confident communicators, creative thinkers, active citizens and lifelong learners. This is complemented by a wide range of extracurricular activities, sports and special events throughout the year. We are always looking for new ways to inspire our pupils and to prepare them for the opportunities and challenges of a changing world.

Above all, St. Peter’s is a community. We know that children thrive when home and school work together, and we greatly value the support of our parents and guardians, our Board of Management, our Parents’ Association and the wider Snugboro community. Our door is always open, and we warmly encourage you to get involved in the life of the school.

I invite you to explore our website to learn more about our school, our policies, our news and our many activities. If you have any questions, or would like to arrange a visit, please do not hesitate to contact the school office. We would be delighted to hear from you.

Go raibh maith agaibh as cuairt a thabhairt orainn, agus táim ag tnúth le fáilte a chur romhaibh chuig Scoil Naomh Peadar.

Le gach dea-ghuí,

Mr. Eamonn Shaughnessy
Principal, St. Peter’s N.S., Snugboro
