Well done to our girls’ and boys’ teams who proudly represented Snugboro N.S. in the Cumann na mBunscol Mini-7s Competition in Breaffy, where they competed against schools from across the Castlebar area.

Our girls’ team put in a fantastic performance, playing with great skill, determination and teamwork throughout their games. The girls gave it their all from start to finish and can be extremely proud of the way they represented our school, both on and off the pitch. Maith sibh, a chailíní!

It was also a brilliant day for our boys’ team, who produced some excellent football across their games. Their hard work, teamwork and
determination paid off as they emerged victorious in the Castlebar Area competition, ensuring that the Castlebar Area Shield remains in Snugboro N.S. for another year! A fantastic achievement –
congratulations to all involved!

The boys will now progress to the West Mayo section of the Cumann na mBunscol Mini-7s Competition, where they will once again have the opportunity to represent Snugboro N.S. We wish them the very best of luck in the next stage!
