Wild flower garden created by GS Committee & Mr. Shaughnessy.
Fedge erected.
Willow courtyard.
Log piles placed on school grounds.
Bird feeders made by 5th class & hung around school grounds.
Bird tables made by 3 parents of pupils & placed in school grounds.
Tree planted (cherry blossom??), when Mrs. Gavin retired.
Martina Butler – Heritage & schools officer, visited the school at least 3 times & facilitated biodiversity workshops with all classes.
Horkans Pet Shop came to school to show some animals & to speak about care of animals.
“Educate Me” came to school to give a presentation on the equatorial rainforests.
