Students from St. Peter's N.S, Snugboro benefit immensely from instruction given by coaches from Castlebar Mitchels and Islandeady GAA clubs. The children participate in a Cumann na mBunscoil 7 a side competition in September and in the last term the children participate in the the 11 a side and 15 a side competition for girls and boys respectfully. The schools 7 a side girls gaelic football team were recently victorious in a blitz held at Breaffy GAA pitch on Friday the 12th of September. The girls narrowly beat Errew N.S in the final. Well done girls!
